It is no secret here at The Trend Tribe we consider Neiman Marcus Fashion Island our own personal Clubhouse. It’s everything us Trendsetters adore: fashion, glitz, glam and beautiful shiny things. So we were not surprised one bit when socialite, Tinsley Mortimer, chose this perfect location to celebrate her new book, Southern Charm, with an intimate invite-only soiree.
Who is Tinsley Mortimer?
Ashley, Wendy and myself had a chance to catch-up with the, author…AND “Beauty Ambassador” for Christian Dior… AND handbag designer for Samantha Thavasa… AND in one word she is pure fabulousness. This southern belle grew up in Richmond, but dreamt of life in New York City where she ultimately ended up. Tinsley arrived to the event looking absolutely incredible dressed in designers Alice + Olivia and Soul Society, but this should also come as no surprise since fashion aficionado, Tinsley, has her own clothing line, Riccimie, available exclusively in Japan.

What a great party! Located past the velvet roped off area outside of the Chanel couture, we enjoyed a happy hour fit for only the trendiest fashionistas. We sipped Southern Charms & Minty Juleps (named for the novel,) provided by HPNOTIQ Harmonie Liqueur and noshed on the most incredible desert table made possible by The Hollywood Candy Girls. Did I mention all the sparkly Jimmy Choo happiness?
Oh, and the book…
