Le Creuset | Pan Perfection

In a perfect world, in my perfect kitchen, inside my perfect house, over looking the beach during a perfect sunset, I would have a complete set of perfect Le Creuset cookware. Is it too much to ask for the Le Creuset Fairy to come visit me? I’m not picky, she can leave a set of the same color or mix-and-match, I’d be just as thrilled.

I want it all. Saucepans, stockpots, woks, frying pans, bakeware, roasters, you name it. One day. Mark my words.

And I know I’m not the only one with this fantasy. I recently took to Facebook and asked my inner circle as well as the Trendsetters to chime in about their love for the brand and I was not alone. Almost all of us were on a mission to own a piece or where feverishly trying to add to our collection.

I wanted to know:

• Which Le Creuset product is your favorite?
• What color(s) do you own? Which do you covet?
• What is your favorite recipe to prepare in your Le Creuset cookware?

Le Creuset | Coq au Vin

Yes, I know this sounds like a foodie focus group, but I love my pieces so much I needed to talk shop with others who share my obsession. Owning a Le Creuset is more than a common bond, it’s a membership to one of the greatest clubs out there. There is a special dynamic where even if you aren’t the greatest chef out there, you still take it seriously, explore, and have fun preparing meals. I can remember the day I bought my first dutch-oven in Flame and became a member of this club. I can also sadly remember the day my husband murdered my beautiful cherry teakettle by dropping it on my slate floors. He’s so lucky I didn’t make him move into the garage.

Here’s what all the chefs in the kitchen had to say…

“I do! We have a medium soup pot style-y guy good for stews (it is Caribbean) and we have the oval medium sized one in orange that is good for roasts.”

Oprah even praised them one of her FAVORITE THINGS so you know it has to be that fabulous! Here is the 10-piece ‘Oprah’ cookware set she gave to members of her studio audience. *sigh*

So pretty much I was right, Le Creuset is fantastic and the perfect cooking investment pieces. After reading these great responses, I decided to go directly to the source. The result?
