San Diego Magazine + Dior Timepieces :: My swanky night in La Jolla
Recently, I attended a private showing of the new Dior timepiece collection with San Diego Magazine and Westime at the beautifully remodeled Hotel La Jolla. It was a perfect evening of bubbly, delicious apps and some of the most beautiful watches I’ve ever seen.
Admittantly, I’m not a watch person. I actually haven’t even worn one since having Lucas over 8 years ago. But these watches made me think I really should be. Stunning colors, designs and diamonds, these watches are more jewelry than timepieces. Yet, some designs could be worn casually, upping the elegantness of your everyday jeans look.
Tick-tock I want to rock you like the 80′s…
These watches were truly works of art. With real cock feathers, and all kind of bling, these watches, whose prices ranged from the lowish to high THOUSANDS, were stunning.
Alas, the purple sapphire chronograph was not in the goodie bag, but I did leave with a whole new appreciation of just how amazing a fine watch could be.

Beth, I’m not a watch person either. In fact I’ve never worn one. Some of these pieces are so pretty it made me think twice. I feel totally naked if I don’t have my Aunt’s garnet ring on. The only time it’s off is when I sleep (so I don’t accidentally hit my hubby in the face with it!)

what a fabulous collection of watches… i’m fond of watches and always try to search the watches that are in trend… all are unique as they are inbuit with real cock feather… really good to know about the new technique..
