The Trend Tribe Book Club | Gone Girl
One of my resolutions for the year is to read more. And not just that, but to connect with other like minds who read and want to discuss the good, the bad, and the interesting of what they’ve just read.
To that illustrious end, I introduce The Trend Tribe Book Club #TTTBC where I’ll name the book we’re reading at the beginning of each month, and then hold an informal discussion to debrief the novel mid-month over on our TTT Facebook Fan Page.
I’ll be sure to post discussion questions at the Trend Tribe website as well, so if you can’t join in on the discussion, you can chime in through the comments section.
This month’s book is Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.
A rollicking ride of a book.
As the Amazon.com description thrillingly summarizes Gone Girl, “On the day of their fifth wedding anniversary, Nick’s wife Amy disappears. There are signs of struggle in the house and Nick quickly becomes the prime suspect…“
What follows is a cat and mouse game you’ll never forget. Trust me. I read it and man, I’m ready to discuss.
I’ll post Gone Girl discussion questions here on TheTrendTribe.com on the morning of January 18 and on Monday, January 21 at 8PM PST we will compare notes during a live discussion on Facebook.
Meanwhile, please feel free to leave upcoming book suggestions (and ideas for a sexier hashtag) in the comments.
Let’s do this!
